1 Stick
Ezekiel takes two sticks, one for Judah and one for Joseph, and makes them one in his hand. The math explains.
Ezekiel 37:15-23
15The word of the Master came to me saying,
16Son of man, take to you 1 tree and write on it, To Judah, and to the children of Israel, his companions. Then take 1 tree and write on it, To Joseph, tree of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions.
17Join them 1 to 1 to you as 1 tree and they will become 1 in your hand.

21and say to them, Thus says the Master of masters, I will take the children of Israel from among the peoples where they have gone and will gather them together and bring them into their own land.
22I will make them 1 people in the land on the mount of Israel and 1 king will be king over them all and they will not be 2 peoples nor will they be divided into 2 kingdoms any longer.
23Nor will they defile themselves any longer in their idols nor in their defilements nor in all their iniquity, but I will save them out of all their dwelling places in which they have sinned and will cleanse them and they will be my people and I will be their god. What is it Ezekiel is fixing or healing when he joins the two sticks together as one stick? The civil war in ancient Israel that led to a northern kingdom named Israel lead by Joseph and a southern kingdom named Judah lead by the tribe of Judah.

1 Kings 12:1718King Rehoboam sent Adoniram who was over the tribute and all Israel stoned him with stones and he died. King Rehoboam made haste to ride in his chariot to flee to Jerusalem.

1 Kings 12:18-1920When all Israel heard that Jeroboam had returned they sent and called him to the assembly and made him king over all Israel and only the tribe of Judah followed the house of David.
1 Kings 12:20 FE 21Rehoboam came to Jerusalem and he assembled all the house of Judah and the tribe of the house of Benjamin, 180,000 chosen men of war, to fight with the house of Israel to bring the kingdom to Rehoboam son of Solomon.
1 Kings 12:2122The word of the Master came upon Shemaiah and he said to him,
23Speak to Rehoboam son of Solomon king of Judah and to all the house of Judah and Benjamin and to the remnant of the people, saying,
24The Master says, You will not go up nor fight against your brothers the children of Israel. Return every man to his house, for this thing is from me. They listened to the word of the Master and returned every man to his house. 1 Kings 12:22-24 (1 Kings 12:1-24 BRB)
