Samuel Called
Samuel lay down in the tabernacle, near
the lampstand, and that night Yahvah called his name. The
number in the story points at a book with another story
where the priests laid down to sleep in the tabernacle.
1 Samuel 3
1The boy Samuel was ministering FE before the Master before Eli, and the word of the Master was precious, in those days there was not a vision that was revealed.
1 Samuel 3:12It came to pass at that time Eli was lying down in his bed and his eyes had begun to grow dull so that he could not see.
3The lamp of god was not yet put out and Samuel was lying down to sleep in the temple of the Master FE where the ark of god was.
1 Samuel 3:2-31|4 4The Master called to Samuel, A 2 Corinthians 6:5 and he answered, Here I am,

1 Samuel 3:52|4 6Again the Master called to Samuel, and Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here I am, for you called me. 1 Samuel 3:6aHe answered, I did not call my son. Go back and lie down.

9Eli said to Samuel, Go back and lie down, and it will be, if he calls you, then you will say, Speak, Master, for your servant hears. Samuel went back and lay down in his place.

13I will show him that I will judge his house forever for the evil which he knew made them contemptible FE when he did not restrain his sons. A Hebrews 12:7
14Because of this, FE I will put to death the house of Eli, and the evil of Eli's house will not be spared, FE in sacrifices nor in offerings, forever.
1 Samuel 3:11-1415Samuel lay until the morning, then he opened the doors of the house of the Master and Samuel feared to tell the vision to Eli.
16Eli called Samuel and said, Samuel, my son. 1 Samuel 3:15-16He answered, Here I am.

Leviticus
The story in Leviticus where the priests sleep in the
tabernacle, which was not normal, was their ordination
week, which likely overlaid the passover week. Here's the
section of the passage that describes how they stayed in
the tabernacle for 7 days (meaning they slept there too).
31Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Cook the meat at the door of the tent of time, and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded saying, Aaron and his sons will eat it.
32What remains of the meat and of the bread you will burn with fire.
33You will not go out of the door of the tent of time for 7 days, until the days of your consecration are at an end; for your consecration will be completed in 7 days.
34Just as I have done this day, so the Master has commanded to do to atone you.
35Therefore you will remain at the door of the tent of time day and night for 7 days and preserve the charge of the Master's observance, that you do not die, for so I am commanded.
36Aaron and his sons did everything the Master commanded by the hand of Moses. Leviticus 8:31-36 (Leviticus 8:31-36 BRB)
The next story in Leviticus includes the death of two
of Aaron's sons, Nadab and Abihu
(Lev 10:1-3).
This is curious considering the message Samuel was given
about Eli's sons, Hophni and Phinehas and their death in
the following story in First Samuel
(1 Sam 4).
