Isaiah Lamentations
Isaiah chapter 15 and the book of Lamentations.
1.1The burden of Moab:
1.2Because in the night
1.3the city of Moab is plundered and brought to silence,
1.4because in the night
1.5the defenses of Moab are despoiled and brought to silence,
2.1they have gone up to the house of Dibon
2.2to the high places to weep.
2.3Moab will howl over Nebo and over Medeba.
2.4On all their heads will be baldness
2.5and every beard cut off.
3.1In their streets they will gird themselves with sackcloth.
3.2On the housetops and in their streets
3.3everyone will howl
3.4weeping vehemently.
4.1Heshbon will cry and Elealeh.
4.2Their voice will be heard as far as Jahaz.
4.3Therefore the armed soldiers of Moab will cry out.
4.4His soul will howl for him.
Isaiah 15:1-45.1My heart will cry out for Moab.
5.2They will howl as they flee to Zoar
5.3as far as Eglath Shelishiyah.
5.4For by the ascent of Luhith
5.5they will go up with weeping
5.6and in the way of Horonaim
5.7they will raise up a cry of destruction.
6.1For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate,
6.2for the vegetation is withered away
6.3and the green grass is dried up
6.4and there is no green thing.
7.1Therefore what was left is gone and what they have stored
7.2they will carry away over the brook of willows.
8.1For the cry is gone around the borders of Moab,
8.2its howling as far as Eglaim
8.3and its howling to Beer Elim.
9.1For the waters of Dibon are full of blood
9.2and I will bring more on Dibon
9.3and I will plot against those who escape of Moab
9.4and against the remnant of the land. Isaiah 15:5-9 (Isaiah 15 BRB)

א 1.1How does the city sit solitary
1.2that was full of people.
1.3How she is become like a widow
1.4she who was so great among the peoples.
1.5She who was a princess of the cities
1.6has become a tributary. Lamentations 1:1 (Lamentations 1:1 BRB)
Weep
ב 2.1She weeps bitterly in the night,
2.2and her tears run on her cheeks;
2.3among all her lovers
2.4she has no one to comfort her;
2.5all her friends have dealt treacherously with her;
2.6they have become her enemies. Lamentations 1:2 (Lamentations 1:2 BRB)
