Isaiah Haggai
Isaiah chapter 25 and the book of Haggai.
FE 1Master, you are my god. I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things and given faithful counsel from far away, amen. I Ruth 1:16-17
2For you have reduced a city to a heap and the fortified city to a ruin. The house of the foreigners and the city are never to be built again.
3Therefore many peoples will praise you and the city of the mighty peoples will worship you.
4For you have been a strength to the poor and a helper to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm and shade from the heat, for the blast of the mighty ones is as a storm against the wall.
5You will blot out the pride of foreigners as the shadow at noonday and as the heat is blotted out by the shade of a cloud. Thus the branch of the mighty ones will be humbled.
Isaiah 25:1-56On this mountain the Master of hosts will make for all peoples a lavish feast, a feast of old and rich wines from the things that belong to our heavenly savior and the mighty one. I Ruth 1:22
7He will destroy on this mountain the prestige of the ruler who ruled over all the peoples, because of the slaughter which was made among all the peoples.
8He will swallow up death in victory Q 1 Corinthians 15:54 forever and the Master god of hosts will wipe away the tears from off all faces and the disgrace of his people he will take away from off all the land, for the Master has spoken it. I Ruth 4:9-10
Isaiah 25:6-89It will be said in that day, This is the Master our god whom we have waited for. He will save us. This is the Master our god whom we have waited for. We will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
Isaiah 25:910For on this mountain the hand of the Master will rest and Moab will be trampled down under him even as straw is trampled down with the threshing sled.
11He will spread forth his hands in the middle of them as a swimmer spreads forth his hands to swim and he will bring down their pride together with the spoils of their bands.
12The fortress of treason of your rebellious men and your strong walls he will tear down and lay low and bring to the land, even to the dust. Isaiah 25:10-12 (Isaiah 25 BRB)
