Isaiah Job
Isaiah chapter 27 and the book of Job.
1.1In that day
1.2the Master will visit with his hard
1.3and great and strong sword on
1.4Leviathan the piercing Hivite, the dragon,
1.5and on Leviathan the crooked Hivite,
1.6and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea. I Job 3:8
Isaiah 27:12.1In that day,
2.2sing to Israel of a vineyard of wine.
3.1I, the Master, do keep it;
3.2I will water it continually;
3.3I will visit it and keep it night and day.
4.1You have no hedge;
4.2who then set in you the briers and the thorns?
4.3I will blow at the vineyard from near
4.4and will burn it together.
5.1Or let Israel take hold of my strength,
5.2and I will make peace for him,
5.3peace I will give him.
Isaiah 27:2-56.1He will cause those who come of Jacob to take root;
6.2Israel will blossom and bud
6.3and fill the face of the world with fruit.
Isaiah 27:67.1Has the Master struck the oppressor
7.2as he struck those who struck him,
7.3or is he killed
7.4according to the slaughter of those who are killed by him?
8.1In measure by which he has measured, you will judge him;
8.2in what he has devised,
8.3in fierce anger on a day of blasting heat.
9.1Therefore, by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven;
9.2and with all this fruit his sin will be taken away;
9.3when he makes all the stones of the altar
9.4as chalk-stones that are broken in pieces;
9.5likewise, the images and idols
9.6will not stand up.
10.1For the strong city will be forlorn and deserted
10.2and forsaken and left desolate like a wilderness;
10.3there the calf will feed,
10.4and there he will lie down
10.5and consume its grass.
11.1Its boughs are withered and they will be broken off;
11.2the women come and set them on fire;
11.3for it is a people of no understanding;
11.4therefore he who made them will not have mercy on them,
11.5and he who formed them will show them no favor.
Isaiah 27:7-1112It will come to pass in that day that the Master will stir up the people from the channel of the river to the river of Mizraim and you will be gathered to each other children of Israel.
13It will come to pass in that day the great trumpet will be blown and those who were lost in the land of Mizraim and those who were scattered in the land of Assyria will come in and bow to the Master in the land of the Master even on his holy mountain in Jerusalem. Isaiah 27:12-13 (Isaiah 27 BRB)
Leviathan

1.2or draw him out with a cord in his mouth? Job 41:1-11 (Job 41:1 BRB)
Peace
1Job answered the Master, and said:
Job 42:12.1I know that you can do all these things,
2.2and that no purpose can be hidden from you.
3.1Who am I to think that I can give counsel without knowledge?
3.2Therefore, you have declared to me that I have uttered what I did not understand;
3.3things too wonderful for me which I did not know.
Job 42:2-34.1Hear me, I ask, and I will speak;
4.2I will ask you, and declare to me.
5.1I have heard you by the hearing of the ear,
5.2but now my eye sees you.
6.1Therefore, I will keep silent
6.2and repent in dust and ashes. Job 42:4-6 (Job 42:1-6 BRB)
