1.1A king will reign in righteousness,
1.2and princes will rule in justice.
2.1A man will be as a hiding place from the wind
2.2and as a shelter from the tempest;
2.3as streams of waters in a dry place,
2.4as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
Isaiah 32:1-23.1The eyes of those who see will not be dim,
3.2and the ears of those who hear will listen.
4.1The heart of the imprudent will understand knowledge,
4.2and the tongue of stammerers will hurry to speak plainly.
5.1The fool will not be called, Ruler, any longer,
5.2nor will the vain man be called, A savior.
Isaiah 32:3-56.1For the fool will speak folly,
6.2and his heart will work iniquity,
6.3to practice hypocrisy
6.4and to utter error,
6.5to make empty the soul of the hungry
6.6and to deprive the thirsty of drink.
7.1The instruments of the vain person are evil;
7.2he devises wicked devices
7.3to destroy the poor with lying words,
7.4even when the testimony of the needy is right.
8.1But a great person devises great things,
8.2and on his greatness he will stand.
Isaiah 32:6-8 9.1Rise up, rich women;
9.2hear my voice,
9.3daughters that publish good news,
9.4give ear to my speech.
10.1The days of the year will be angry
10.2against those who publish good news,
10.3for the vintage will fail,
10.4the gathering will not come.
11.1Quake, rich women;
11.2be troubled, who publish good news;
11.3strip, and make yourselves bare
11.4and gird sackcloth on your loins.
12.1Mourn and beat on your breasts, for the pleasant fields,
12.2for the fruitful vine.
13.1On the land of my people
13.2thorns will grow up and briers;
13.3yes, on all the houses of mirth
13.4in the mighty city;
14.1because the house is forsaken;
14.2the multitude of the city is deserted;
14.3and the beautiful houses have become caves forever,
14.4thorns, and a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks;
15.1until the Spirit be poured on us from on high,
15.2and the wilderness become a fruitful field,
15.3and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
16.1Justice will live in the wilderness,
16.2and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
17.1The work of righteousness will be peace;
17.2and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.
18.1My people will live in a peaceful habitation
18.2and in sure tents
18.3and in a resting place of hope.
19.1Hail will come down on the forest,
19.2and the city will be made low like a plain.
20.1Blessed are you
20.2who sow beside all waters,
20.3the place which is trampled under the feet of the ox and the donkey. Isaiah 32:9-20 (Isaiah 32 BRB)
