Isaiah 2 John
Isaiah chapter 48 and the epistle of 2 John.
FE 1Listen, house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel and are come out from the loins of Judah, who swear by the name of the Master and make mention of the god of Israel, but not in truth nor in righteousness.
2For they are called out of the holy city and they rely on the god of Israel; the Master of hosts is his name.
3I have declared the former things from the beginning and they went forth out of my mouth and I showed them to you; I did them suddenly and they came to pass.
4Because I knew that you are obstinate and your neck is an iron sinew and between your eyes brass;
5I have made them known to you from of old; before they came to pass I declared them to you, lest you should say, My idols did them; and my graven images and my molten images have saved me.
6I have heard and seen all these things; and you did not declare them. Isaiah 48:1-6I have proclaimed to you new things from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them.
7They are created now, and not of old; even before the day when you did not hear of them, lest you should say, I knew them.
8Yes, you have neither heard nor known of them; nor were your ears opened of old; for I knew that you surely would lie and that you were called a wicked one from the womb.
9For my name's sake I will defer my anger, and for my praise I will keep you, and I will not destroy you.
10I have refined you, but not with silver; I have purified you in the furnace of affliction.
11For my own sake, I will do it, that my name may not be polluted and that I may not give my glory to another.
Isaiah 48:6-1112Listen to me, Jacob and Israel, whom I called; I am he; I am the 1st, I am also the last.
13My hand has laid the foundations of the land, and my right hand has stretched out the skies; when I call to them, they stand up together.
Isaiah 48:12-1314Assemble, all of you, and listen; who is there among you who can declare these things? The Master has loved him, that he may do his will on Babel and on the land of the Chaldeans.
15I, even I, have spoken; yes, I have also called him; I have brought him and I have made his way prosperous.
Isaiah 48:14-1516Come near to me, listen to this: I have not spoken in secret, from the beginning, from the creation, there I am; Isaiah 48:16aand now the Master God has sent me and his spirit.
Isaiah 48:16b17The Master says, your savior, the holy one of Israel, I am the Master your god who teaches you not to do wrong, who leads you by the way that you should go.
18That you had listened to my commandments. Then your peace would have been as a river, and your righteousness as the waves of the sea;
19your seed would have also been as the sand, and the offspring of your loins like its gravel; their name would not perish nor be destroyed from before me.
Isaiah 48:17-1920Go forth from Babel, flee from the Chaldeans; with a voice of singing declare this, proclaim it, and publish it even to the ends of the land; say, The Master has saved his servant Jacob.
21They did not thirst when he led them through the desert. He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them. He bored through the rock and the waters gushed out.
Isaiah 48:20-2122There is no peace to the wicked, says the Master. Isaiah 48:22 (Isaiah 48 BRB)
Truth
1The elder, 2 John 1:1To the chosen lady and her children that I love in the truth and not only me but also those who know the truth,
2because of the truth which lives in us and is with us to eternity:
2 John 1:1-2FA 3Grace and mercy and peace be with us from god the father and from our master Joshua the anointed the son of the father in truth and in love.
2 John 1:34I rejoiced much that I found your children walking in the truth according to the commandment we have received from the father. 2 John 1:4 (2 John 1:1-4 BRB)
Beginning
5Now I beg you lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but what we had from the beginning, FA that we love one another.
6This is love, that we walk according to his commandment. This commandment is according to what you heard from the beginning, in which you have been walking, 2 John 1:5-7 (2 John 1:5-6 BRB)
Deceivers
7because many deceivers went out into the world who do not confess that Joshua FA the anointed came in the flesh. FA This is the deceiver and antichrist. (2 John 1:7 BRB)
Work
8Beware in your souls that you do not lose those things that you have accomplished, but that you receive a full reward. 2 John 1:8-11 (2 John 1:8 BRB)
Teach
FA 9All who pass and do not stay in the teaching of the anointed, god is not in. He who stays in his teaching has the father and the son. (2 John 1:9 BRB)
Flee
10If a man comes to you and does not bring this teaching do not receive him into the house FA and, Rejoice to you, you will not speak to him. (2 John 1:10 BRB)
Wicked
11For he that says to him, Rejoice to you, is a partaker of his evil works. (2 John 1:11 BRB)
