Isaiah 1 Timothy

Isaiah 56:1-8 and the epistle of 1 Timothy.

FE 1Thus says the Master: Preserve judgment, and do justice; for my salvation will come soon and my righteousness will be revealed. 2Blessed is the man who does this and the son of man who lays hold on it, he who also preserves the sabbath that he may not profane it and keeps his hands from doing any evil. Isaiah 56:1-23Do not let the son of the foreigner who follows the Master speak, saying, The Master has utterly separated me from his people, nor let the eunuch say, I am a dry tree. 4For, thus says the Master: To the eunuchs who preserve my sabbaths and choose the things that please me and take hold of my contract, 5I will give to them in my house and inside my walls a place and a name better than sons and daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off. 6Also to the children of the strangers who follow the Master, to serve him and to love the name of the Master, to be his servants, each who keeps from profaning the sabbath and takes hold of my contract, 7even them I will bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar. For my house will be called a house of prayer Q Matthew 21:13 Q Mark 11:17 Q Luke 19:46 for all peoples. 8Thus says the Master God who gathers the outcasts of Israel, Yet I will gather others to him, besides those who were gathered to him. Isaiah 56:3-8 (Isaiah 56:1-8 BRB)

Isaiah says Yahvah's house will be called a house of prayer for all nations. This matches prayer for all men.

FA 1Therefore, I beg you 1st of all, to offer to god 1|4 petitions, 2|4 and prayers, 3|4 and supplications, 4|4 and thanksgiving, for the sake of all the children of men, 2for the sake of kings and princes, that we may live a quiet and peaceable life, in all fear of god and purity. 3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of god our lifegiver, 4he who desires all the children of men will have life, and will return to the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is 1 god, and 1 mediator between god and the children of men, the son of man Joshua the anointed, 6who gave himself a ransom for all, a testimony which came in due time. 7For that testimony, I was appointed a preacher and an apostle; I tell the truth and I do not lie; and I became the teacher of the peoples in a true belief. 1 Timothy 2:1-7 (1 Timothy 2:1-7 BRB)
