1.1The parched wilderness will be glad, 1.2and the plain will rejoice and blossom like the crocus. 2.1It will rejoice like a mountain goat; 2.2the glory and honor of Lebanon will be given to it, 2.3the excellency of Carmel and Sharon; 2.4they will see the glory of the Master 2.5and the excellency of our God, 2.6an admonition and comfort for the weak, 2.7for a savior is coming to save them. Isaiah 35:1-23.1Strengthen the weak hands 3.2and make firm the feeble knees. 4.1Say to those who are of a fearful heart, 4.2Be strong, do not fear; 4.3your God the avenger is coming, 4.4even God the savior is coming to save you. Isaiah 35:3-45.1Then the eyes of the blind will be opened 5.2and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. 6.1Then the lame man will jump as a deer 6.2and the tongue of the mute will be loosed; 6.3for waters are bursting forth in the wilderness, 6.4and streams in the plain. 7.1The desolate land will become a pool, 7.2and the thirsty land springs of water; 7.3in the habitation of dragons 7.4grass will grow with reeds and rushes. Isaiah 35:5-78.1A highway will be there 8.2and it will be called, The holy way; 8.3the unclean will not pass it; 8.4and there will not be a way beside it; 8.5in it fools will not err. 9.1No lion will be there, 9.2nor will any ravenous animal go up on it; 9.3they will not be found there; 9.4but in it the redeemed will walk; 10.1and the ransomed of the Master will return 10.2and come to Zion with songs 10.3and everlasting joy on their heads; 10.4they will obtain joy and gladness, 10.5and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
